In Person Training

Private Intensives - Clinics - Local Lessons

Grounded in the Five Fundamentals of Lightness, in-person training blends classical principles with embodied feel. Work may include groundwork, liberty, in-hand and long-reining, lateral work, straightness, refined riding, and advanced movements such as piaffe, passage, and working equitation—always in service of clarity, balance, and harmony.

Private Intensives

Multi-day, one-to-one in-person work within a complete training system

Private Intensives are immersive, in-person experiences designed to bring clarity, feel, and integration into your horse’s training. They may be booked privately by one rider with one or multiple horses, or shared by a small group of up to five riders, allowing for both individualized attention and collective learning.

Most intensives are one week in duration, offering the time and space needed for meaningful progression and integration. Depending on the needs of the horse and rider, intensives may be shortened or extended to support the work appropriately.

For riders enrolled in the yearly version of Ultimate Light Horse, the in-person component is typically offered as a VIP mini-intensive of two to three days, designed to reinforce and calibrate the ongoing virtual mentorship. This focused format allows subtle refinements to be embodied while maintaining continuity with the year-long program.

Whether experienced as a standalone immersion or as part of a longer mentorship, each intensive is thoughtfully structured to support sustainable progress, physical soundness, and clear communication between horse and rider.

Deepen, Explore, Enjoy

Enhancing every nuance of your horse’s training and connection

In-person experiences offer the chance to deepen what you’re already practicing online, refine subtle details, and explore new exercises in a hands-on, immersive way. Whether it’s discovering finer timing, feeling nuances of collection, or experimenting with liberty and playful movements, these sessions bring an extra layer of connection, clarity, and quality to your horse’s training. They’re designed to enhance your learning, bring the philosophy to life, and create joyful, embodied breakthroughs for both horse and rider.

Host a Clinic

Bring the work to your community

Hosting a clinic offers riders in your area the opportunity to experience this work together in a focused, supportive setting. Clinics are intentionally structured as a blend of group learning and private sessions, creating the greatest depth of understanding and the most meaningful results for each horse and rider.

Group sessions provide context, philosophy, and shared observation — allowing riders to see patterns, principles, and progression beyond their own ride. Private lessons within the clinic ensure that each rider receives individualized guidance, tailored to their horse’s needs, level, and current challenges. This combination supports not only technical improvement, but a clearer understanding of the underlying philosophy that informs every exercise and correction.

Clinics are small, themed intensives that weave together teaching, demonstration, guided practice, and discussion, and can be tailored to your facility and community. Formats may range from one to several days, with group size intentionally limited to preserve quality, depth, and a calm learning environment.

If you’re interested in hosting a clinic and would like to explore themes, requirements, or potential dates, I invite you to get in touch to begin the conversation.

Local Lessons

Ongoing, hands-on refinement for committed riders

For riders located in my local area, I offer a limited number of in-person lesson packages for clients seeking consistent, hands-on support and continued refinement of their work.

These lessons are best suited for riders who value refining their aids and want to develop clarity, feel, and correct biomechanics using a clear training system. Sessions may include ridden work, groundwork, in-hand exercises, or long-reining, depending on the needs of the horse and the focus of the moment.

Availability is intentionally limited to ensure presence, continuity, and quality of instruction.

If you’re interested in local in-person lessons and would like to explore whether this is the right fit, I invite you to reach out for availability and details.
